New place. new activities. same connections.
After three years in North Carolina, we’re trying something new. Not only are we going to a new location - Evins Mill, outside of Nashville, Tennessee - but we’re going to have an expert speaker join us for some of our sessions. We’re also going to leave the resort and go exploring the area!
Evins Mill has hiking trails, and waterfalls and looks spectacularly beautiful - we’re excited to discover everything it has with you.
We’ll be joined by Cat O’Shaughnessy Coffrin for a series of sessions on how we best position ourselves in order to support our business growth and goals. Building on last fall’s discussion of The Four Conversations and the importance of reputation, we will be going deeper on this topic to explore and define the way we want to be known - as leaders, as humans, and as experts in our field.
Cat will share data, examples, and frameworks for uncovering our leader brands in a way that feels both strategic and energizing.
What to expect
Participants will be given advance homework that involved creative thought prompts and gathering input from five of their top career champions before the retreat. The idea is to generate internal reflection and external perspectives to help inform the process on-site.
On day 1, Cat will lead a keynote-style leadership branding 101 session that grounds us in the concept and importance of this effort and begins to lay out the framework that we will use to create our own brands. This will be follows with some loosely structured homework and exercises with fellow participants designed to begin to jar loose inspiration and insights on our individual styles, value, and motivators.
On day 2, in a longer working session, we will develop a draft of our leader brand strategy, exploring and distilling what sets us apart and how we make an impact, and beginning to hone the way we want to be known and the core story that we tell. This session will also include a tangible roadmap exercise where we will move from brand concept to implementation planning with next steps that can help us reach our personal and business goals.
