Our camps avoid big cities and large crowds in order to help us get away from reality and focus on our community. To get to know other members in the collective, each company is highly encouraged to send one or more of their team to camp at least once every other year.

Camps are only open to Kermit Collective members.

Kermit Camps give leaders a chance to step away from the day-to-day tasks of running a company and focus on creative thinking, new ideas, and making connections with collaborative competitors.

We start by getting to know each other as people, then dig into activities around a theme (previous themes have included storytelling and adaptability), and end camp with an unconference where participants are invited to share presentations on anything they find interesting.

Sample Agenda:

Monday: Arrive, unpack, get settled. Welcome dinner

Tuesday: Explore the area where we’re staying and “Oops-Conference” (Biggest Mistakes and lessons learned since last retreat)

Wednesday: Facilitation Day: Workshops and discussions

Thursday: Unconference lightning talks, presentations, knowledge sharing + Closing Dinner

Friday: Brunch and Travel home

Upcoming Camp:

We will return to our incredible farm location in the mountains next year. We have our block of rooms reserved for May 2025 and can’t wait to get back to the farm-to-table meals and discussions
